Sistem Gestiune

Overview

A unique identification code is generated for each item. These codes are printed as barcodes on adhesive labels and applied to the items. Once registered in the database, any item can be identified by scanning the barcode on its label. Automation means scanning the label barcode, real-time identification of the item and its database attributes, and processing it accordingly. After this operation the item is placed in the desired location, completing the labelling and asset allocation process. While assets are in custody, operations such as moves between locations, stocktaking and more can be performed.

A similar procedure allows identification of the physical locations where items are stored.
